Should I use ERC-721 or ERC1155?

I'm really torn between ERC-721 and ERC-1155 for my next crypto project. ERC-721 seems to be the go-to standard for unique, non-fungible tokens, like digital art or collectibles. But ERC-1155 offers the flexibility of both fungible and non-fungible tokens under one umbrella. Which one should I choose? ERC-721 seems more established and widely adopted, but ERC-1155 could offer cost savings and efficiency for my platform. Is ERC-1155 ready for prime time, or should I stick with the tried-and-true ERC-721? I'm looking for advice from experts in the crypto space to help me make this decision.
