Can you fight off a Komodo dragon?

Excuse me, but I must ask, is it really feasible for a human being to engage in a physical confrontation with a Komodo dragon? Given their size, strength, and agility, along with their natural instincts as predators, doesn't it seem rather unwise, if not downright dangerous, to consider such a confrontation? Are there any known cases of humans successfully fighting off Komodo dragons, or is this more of a hypothetical scenario that one should avoid in reality?
