Will 2 cubic feet of soil fill a 5 gallon bucket?

I'm curious, would 2 cubic feet of soil actually be enough to fill up a 5 gallon bucket? It seems like a straightforward question, but I'm not sure about the conversion rates and the volume of soil that can actually fit into such a container. Can you help me understand if this would work, or if I would need more or less soil to achieve the desired result?
