Is it OK to plug in EV every night?

As a concerned EV owner, I'm wondering if it's advisable to plug in my electric vehicle every night? Is it SAFE for the battery's longevity, or could it potentially lead to any issues in the long run? Moreover, does it make sense economically, given the cost of electricity and potential wear and tear on the charging system? I'd appreciate any insights or recommendations you may have on this matter.
