Will ETH2 replace ETH?

I'm wondering if ETH2, the upcoming upgrade to the Ethereum network, is meant to completely replace the current ETH or if they will coexist. Will my existing ETH tokens be converted or will there be two separate tokens? Will ETH2 replace ETH?
