My AirDrop device isn't appearing in the list of available devices. I'm not sure why it's not showing up when I try to use AirDrop. Can someone help me troubleshoot this issue?

AirDrop functionality is contingent on both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi being activated. If either of these services is disabled, AirDrop will not operate.

One frequently encountered issue with AirDrop is when a device fails to appear in the list of available devices for file transfer. This often happens when the device is in sleep mode.

When a device is asleep, it does not actively search for or connect to other devices via AirDrop, leading to this visibility problem.

Another prevalent error that disrupts AirDrop's functionality is when users inadvertently leave their devices in Airplane Mode. Airplane Mode disables all wireless communications, including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, rendering AirDrop useless.

Similarly, enabling Do Not Disturb mode can also interfere with AirDrop, as it may limit the ability of the device to receive incoming connections or notifications.
