I'm constantly getting airdropped files from nearby devices and it's becoming quite annoying. I want to know how to stop this from happening. Is there a way to disable airdrop or limit who can airdrop me files?

To disable AirDrop on your iPhone or iPad, you need to start by accessing the Control Center. Depending on the model of your device, this can be done by swiping up from the bottom of the screen or down from the top-right corner.

Once you have opened the Control Center, locate the Network Settings icon. This is typically displayed as a group of interconnected circles or a series of lines and dots. Tap and hold this icon until a menu expands, revealing additional options.

To turn off AirDrop, select the option labeled Receiving Off. This will prevent anyone from being able to send you files via AirDrop, effectively disabling the feature on your device.
