Within the 'Import tokens' section, you will find an option labeled 'Import custom token.' Select this option to proceed with adding a token that is not pre-integrated into Metamask. This feature is particularly useful for those who wish to hold or trade lesser-known cryptocurrencies.

Next, you will need to obtain the contract address for the token you wish to import. In this case, we are importing USDT on the Polygon network. Visit CoinMarketCap and locate the page for USDT on Polygon. On this page, you will find the contract address for the token. Copy this address to your clipboard for easy access.
Return to your Metamask wallet and paste the copied contract address into the 'Token Contract Address' field within the 'Import custom token' section. Metamask will use this address to search for and identify the token you wish to add.

Once Metamask detects the token using the contract address, it will display the relevant information, including the token's symbol and decimal places. At this point, you can proceed to add USDT to your Metamask wallet. Simply click the 'Add Token' button to complete the process. Your wallet will now display the balance of USDT on the Polygon network.
