I've transferred some tokens to my MetaMask wallet, but they're not appearing in my account. I've checked the transaction hash and it shows the tokens were successfully sent to my address, but I can't see them in MetaMask. Why is this happening? Why are my tokens not showing up in MetaMask?

Tokens that fail to appear in the 'Overview' section might be due to a couple of reasons. One potential cause is that the token is not listed on any of the supported networks. This could mean that the token is not yet integrated with the platforms that provide the overview service.

Another reason for a token's absence in the 'Overview' could be that it is not recognized as a supported token on one of the networks it is listed on. This might happen if the token does not meet the criteria set by the network for being supported or if it has not undergone the necessary verification processes.

Currently, there are several networks that are supported for token overview purposes. These include Ethereum mainnet, which is one of the most popular blockchain networks for deploying tokens. Its wide adoption and robust infrastructure make it a preferred choice for many token developers.

OP Mainnet, Arbitrum, and Fantom are other supported networks that offer unique features and benefits for token deployment. OP Mainnet focuses on interoperability and cross-chain communication, while Arbitrum provides scalability solutions for Ethereum through rollup technology. Fantom, on the other hand, offers high speed and low-cost transactions, making it ideal for tokens in the DeFi space.

Polygon is another supported network that offers scalability solutions for Ethereum. It allows for the creation and deployment of tokens with lower fees and faster transaction times compared to Ethereum mainnet. This makes it an attractive option for tokens that require high transaction throughput.
